Hello and Welcome to Hawkvale.com
Incorporated in 2006, Hawkvale became a trading and sourcing arm of the Faith Group Company (FGC), one of the world's largest plastics trading and polyethylene recycling companies. Our group has facilities in the USA, Mexico, Netherlands, Argentina, Egypt and Hong Kong, with our strengths being in sourcing, marketing, and recycling networks. Our group has an annual recycling quantity of over 200,000 metric tonnes and an annual turnover of over $120,000,000.
SpecialistsSpecialising in domestic and international trading of plastic waste, post-industrial plastic scrap, and post-consumer plastic scrap, we operate the relevant processing via our parent group plants and selected recycling partners. We handle a broad range of plastics including LDPE, PET, PETG, PP, ABS, Nylon, PS, EPS, PC, specialised engineering plastics, and HDPE plastic recycling. Recycled PET materials are used to make staple fibre, non-woven fibre, sheet and film, container and paints. Our sister company PL Plastic Services LLC, located in Florence, South Carolina, operates a recycling plant and warehouse, providing a toll processing service to several main PET manufacturers in the USA.
Plastic Recycling – Saving the EnvironmentHawkvale operate to the highest environmental standards, guaranteeing and ensuring that all exports comply with the latest UK, European, and Chinese environmental regulations and standards. We are an approved waste carrier and broker, accredited packaging waste exporter, and approved WEEE exporter.
Plastics are used in a wide range of products that we use on a daily basis. Up to 60% of the rubbish found in our dustbins could be recycled, and as much as 50% of waste in the average dustbin could be composted. Plastics convenience is undeniable as it is produced in vast quantities throughout the world.
Manufactured using crude oil, recycling plastic waste is hugely important to limit the depletion of this limited resource. Plastic waste can be found lying on roadsides, hedgerows, beaches etc., and are not bio-degradable. As they do not decompose, they are consequently harming the environment and it is our responsibility to recycle plastic waste accordingly.
Plastic recycling is an excellent method of conserving the environment as well as saving energy; 1 recycled plastic bottle alone could power a 60-watt light bulb for up to 3 hours. The seven types of plastic resins can be recycled and used to make a wide variety of products. PET is recycled into bottles, carpets, clothing, and car parts. HDPE is recycled and used to produce bags, plastic lumber, and agricultural pipes. Recycled LDPE is recycled to manufacture bags, plastic lumber, and compost bins.
